Dear blockc,
I think what you can do is go over the nearest TM to apply for the line.
If there's no services for our area at the moment, then they might get it done only when the demand is high.
So, just encourage whoever is intrested for this services, get themselves registered.

Hi,
As i know that we need to provide TMNet our fixed line no. in order to register ourself.
Since there is no fixed line (Streamyx can not be installed on wireless phone) at our apartment, how we are going to register ourself?

What i meant is actually Telekom n TM net is the same co, while you request for Streamyx. As you mentioned they will need the fix line no from you, so from there you could seek for advise or help from the counter.
Inform them you need to use Streamyx service but there is no fix line provide yet. Hope they could sort it out asap. |

Hai,
There is another option, Jaring Wireless Broadband.
Although this service coverage is out of range at our apartment about 1KM (block C) but it still work for me.
If anyone wish to know is the service available at his/her place, just drop me a mail, I can take my notebook and the wireless terminal to test at your house.

Hi tkh,
Are you looking for cable/adsl or wireless broadband ?
If you're talking about wireless broadband, one of the forum members (ocpd2000) has already been using Jaring's wireless broadband service for the past 5 months.

Hi -
In order for him to help you, please contact him directly (ocpd2000 or comcrazy) in this forum.
It's possible; it's not that difficult, just get your correct gear and you should be able to connect.
I'm currently outstation.
Good luck!
